How does fees works on MTGetsy?
There are three basic selling fees: a listing fee, a transaction fee, and a payment processing fee.
It costs $0.20 to publish a listing to the marketplace. A listing lasts for four months or until the item is sold. Once an item sells, there is a 6.5% transaction fee on the sale price (including the shipping price you set).
We collect a 3% + $0.25 payment processing fee when an item is sold.
Listing fees are billed for $0.20 USD.
The payment processing fee may vary based on the method of payment and bank from the buyer.
How do I get paid?
With MTGetsy Payments, our simple and secure payment system, you can receive payments from a variety of methods used by buyers, including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Google Wallet, and Apple Pay. All funds from your sales are processed through MTGetsy and must be withdrawn directly to your PayPal account. To receive payouts, you’ll need a valid PayPal account, as this is the exclusive method for withdrawing your earnings.
What do I need to open a shop?
It’s easy to set up a shop on MTGetsy. Create an Etsy account (if you don’t already have one), set your shop informations, choose a shop name, create a listing, tell us your paypal address (how you want to be paid), and finally set a billing method (how you want to pay your MTGetsy fees).
